DREAMS (1990 - 1993)
The ability to dream is held only by humans. And it is this ability that has become the main theme of the first production of the black theater All Colours Theater Sny - Dreams. Its hero is a sales clerk in a small department store, a boy, who experiences a daily gray banality. Every once in a while he daydreams. In his dreams he enters into a colorful world, in search of the exotic, adventure, secrets and beautiful women. Ivan Holeček directed the successful creation of the play that had 1195 repeat performances, the composer and musical director of the original music score was Vladimír Zahradníček and the choreographer was Jiřina Kottová. Daniel Šedivák was the author of the interesting scenes.
MAGICAL UNIVERSE (1993-1998)
Another of our theater's productions, entitled Magical Universe, utilizes and further develops the approach that was created in the All Colours Theater and that was cultivated here. It offers a magical journey through time and space in metaphorical symbolism and colorful poetic visuals. For this production the creative team is comprised of the producer and co-writer of the script, Michal Kocourek, director and screenplay writer, Ivan Holeček, set designer, Daniel Šedivák, choreographer, Jiřina Kottová, musical composer, Jiří Doubek, and the lyricist, Pavel Kácha. In the preparation phase the group used its experience as well as the energy and vigor of the new support from a range of actors. At the beginning of 1993 the scenery and props were made, the scenic music and songs were written such that on the 29th of March 1993, the opening performance could take place. The performance is aimed at the general public. It should bring audiences good entertainment as well as a dream and poeticism. In 1998 this play had 980 repeat performances.
CONCERT IN BLACK LIGHT (1996-1998)
The Concert in Black Light offers you a unique introduction to the masterful works of three composing personalities, the representatives of the epitome of classicism: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Franz Haydn and Petr Vranický. They were connected through personal friendship, they worked in Vienna and in Prague and among their works we find brilliant chamber compositions for strings and flute. In this production we present them in an exciting combination of dance and magical variations of black light theatre.
